Since the early planning stages of my trip, up until 30 minutes before I left the hotel for Scotiabank Place, I was warned about the journey out to the arena in Ottawa. Needless to say, I left with enough time ahead of me to account for traffic and other potential delays. It’s not worth screwing this thing up now over rush hour. (read more)…

Andre’s tweets of note:
About the traffic: Wow. People weren’t kidding about this Ottawa traffic. Very LA’esque.
About the trip winding down: Last stop in Canada today, and I got 7.5 hours sleep last night! 4 more games in 3 nights…tasting it
Just got to “The Bank” here in Ottawa for game 27 of 30. Last Canadian game (also last Canadien game).
About the second Habs takeover of the trip (the first one being in Minnesota): I was warned about this. About 70% Montreal fans here at the moment.
I hope Guinness doesn’t mind I saw two Montreal home games and no Sens game. Ouch!
About the travel fatigue: For the first time all trip, I feel like I could fall asleep in my seat. Also bought 50/50 tix for first time, hope winning will wake me up.
Did not win the 50/50 tonight. Oh well! I’d rather save the luck for the end of this trip
Arena rating: 3.67 out of 6.00
