Consecutive wins for Saints, who host Eagles on Sunday

Putting it on the Line

Posted by Eric Fisher On November 8

At first glance, seeing the Eagles as 7-point favorites over the Cowboys doesn’t seem like an enticing bet. The only Eagles game decided by more than six points this season was a 34-13 victory over the Giants on a Thursday night.

And let’s be honest. The Eagles could have lost their most recent game – in London against the Jaguars – if not for an instant replay ruling that wiped out a Josh Adams fumble in Eagles territory.

On the other side of the ledger, though, is that the Eagles are coming off their bye week while the Cowboys have had a short week after playing on Monday night. Another positive for the Eagles is that the Cowboys suffered a convincing 28-14 loss to the Titans on Monday and seem in a bit of disarray.

In fact, I like the Eagles so much that I’m going to make them my “best bet.”

The Eagles aren’t the only home favorite I like this week. All of my “other top picks” are also home favorites.
